THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT

As we approach the holidays and give thanks, everyone at United Way of Greater Nashua would like to thank you -- our donors and volunteers -- for helping us build a stronger community. Today, we recognize outstanding supporters who LIVE UNITED and tell us what they're thankful for.

Family, friends, & more:
what are
you thankful for?
Thanksgiving is a time to reflect about what matters most and appreciate the everyday occurrences that too often we take for granted. We asked several United Way supporters what they are thankful for this holiday season. Here are some excerpts from their responses:

Heather Arvanitis Heather Arvanitis, PSNH: "This Thanksgiving I'm thankful to be marrying my best friend in a few short weeks."

Bob Mack Bob Mack, City of Nashua, Division of Public Health & Community Services: "I am thankful for all those who serve the less fortunate in our community."

Jamie Pappas Jamie Pappas, Monarch Instrument: "I am very thankful for the opportunity to serve as a United Way board member and co-chair of the Day of Caring, which has given me a new respect and gratitude for the tremendous programs local agencies provide for children, families and the elderly."

LU Trio Make a positive impact
Everyone wants a strong community, and whether you Give, Advocate, or Volunteer, you can play a part in making that happen. That's what it means to LIVE UNITED.

When you invest with United Way, you can be assured that your gift is funding effective programs that address pressing needs right here in our community.  We're working to strengthen the safety net, improve our community's health, and help families in crisis secure transitional housing.

If you have not yet had the opportunity to participate in United Way's current campaign, we invite you to join the thousands of our neighbors who have committed to making our community a stronger, healthier place. You may  make a secure online donation to United Way's Community Impact Fund (paper pledge form download also available).

Attention business owners: build your team, your business, and your reputation by partnering with United Way. Learn ways to get involved or contact Liz Fitzgerald, 603-882-4011, x20.
