From tulip plantings to formations on local school fields, Beyond Influence - a United Way of Greater Nashua program focused on reducing substance abuse in our region - coordinated several activities in observance of Red Ribbon Week. At its annual meeting, Beyond Influence welcomed local health, safety, education, government, and business representatives who shared reports on substance abuse prevention progress.  See our blog for a recap of the week's events, including several photos.

LIVE UNITED
Stand Out in the Crowd. LIVE UNITED.

It takes everyone in the community to come together and help advance the common good. If you LIVE UNITED by giving, advocating, or volunteering and would like to inspire others to do the same, we want to talk to you! We'll outfit you with a cool LIVE UNITED T-shirt to wear to a popular community event, such as Nashua's Downtown Holiday Stroll. Read more about how to become a United Way ambassador.

Cruise to Caribbean; Help Our Community
With the colder weather rapidly approaching, how does a week-long cruise to the Caribbean or Mexico sound? Thanks to a grant from Holland America Line, that's just what we're going to give away to one lucky donor.

All it takes is $3 per week through your company's United Way Campaign, or a direct gift of $156...spread out over a year, that's just $13 per month! To ensure the donations go toward meeting our community's greatest needs, they must be directed to United Way's Community Impact Fund or an impact area (Safety Net, Transitional Housing, Our Community's Health). Get qualified for the drawing, which will be held at UWGN's Donor & Volunteer Appreciation Night, May 16, 2013, at the Nashua Country Club.
