LS Science Fair

About 100 students exhibited science projects at the Lower School Science Fair Thursday in Siler Hallway. Students in Grades 3-5 presented their projects after working on them for about 7-8 weeks. The students picked any topic they would like to explore, conducted preliminary research and then designed and conducted their own experiment. They then recorded and interpreted the results in terms of how it related to their hypothesis. The underlying goal of the Lower School science fair is teaching students the scientific method. Eighth Graders served as judges for the fair.
