Scouting for Food at ESK with Cub Scout Pack 926

It's what scouts do; we "help others." Scouting for Food is our opportunity to participate in the Great Smokey Mountain Council's annual food drive for Second Harvest and other food banks throughout East Tennessee. On Friday, February 6, Pack 926 Cub Scouts will be participating in the annual Scouting for Food drive by taking donations in the drop-off/pick-up line. On Monday, February 2, Scouts handed out donation bags complete with a list of suggested donations that were sent home with your student. Scouts will be available tomorrow morning and afternoon to collect the donations. If you did not receive an official bag, you may still participate by sending in a food item - no glass containers please. Thank you for your help.

Help ESK Earn Fittest School Honors!

ESK Lower School students have the unique opportunity to participate in the Covenant Kids Run "Marathon" as part of the Knoxville Marathon weekend. By participating, kids can run a "marathon." Each child receives a logbook to start tracking his or her miles and exercise between now and the official Covenant Kids Run March 28. Kids can finish the last mile of the marathon on the 50- yard line of UT's Neyland Stadium. The event will not be timed - it's about having fun. Parents are welcome to participate in the race with children. The registration fee is $15 until February 15, $20 after February 15. Please contact LS P.E. Teacher Pansie Evans for more information.

Box Tops for Education

Box Tops is such an easy way for parents to get involved in their child's education. Just by purchasing Box Tops products, clipping the box top coupon and sending them into school, we earn cash that can be used to buy anything we need. You can find Box Tops on thousands of your favorite products, from cereals to office supplies to Hanes® T-shirts. Any new member who logs on to btfe.com/hero will automatically earn five eBoxtops ($0.50) for ESK. Please direct all questions to Rachel@mcbreartycapital.com.
