Library News

Thank you for Shopping!

Your purchases made our Scholastic Book Fair a huge success. A sincere thank you goes to Chrissy Faught, Susan Miller, Laura Browning, Peggy Vermillion, Jennifer Tramontana, Elizabeth Campbell, Pam Buhl, and Danielle Fritts who all helped ring up sales in the frenzied shopping sessions before and after school. Sales in the lower school totaled just over $7700, which translated to a $1600 profit. With that money 4 iPad minis will be added to the lower school library. These devices will be equipped with the mobile app for our new online library catalog, making it so much easier for the students to search for books and do online research in the library. Come by next week to try out the iPad mini search stations.

The Middle School Book Fair was an exciting success. Students enjoyed purchasing new books for their personal reading. Mrs. Lovely appreciates the helpful attitudes and assistance from several kind ESK folks including: Julie King, Melissa Kirk, Erika Letsinger, Brett Tannhauser, Cam Basden, Barb Quaint, Abby Pensky, Melissa Callahan, Sharon Cassada and many student volunteers. Sales were brisk and we will use our profits to purchase materials and tech equipment to the MS Library and Collaborative Learning Lab. Happy Reading!
