Father Josh Hill will officiate at the 8:00 a.m. ceremony in front of The Brewington Lower School, which will be attended by about 340 students and 75 faculty and staff. The building will house two Fifth Grade classrooms and a great room for the Lower School as ESK expands to make room for the first class of Junior Kindergarten students in the fall. Fourth Grade students will participate in the service, as they will be the first Fifth Grade class to use the building.

The service take the place of regularly scheduled Lower School and Middle School chapel.

Docent Day at James White Fort

ESK Fourth Graders spent time Friday morning serving as docents at James White Fort. In colonial dress, the students told visitors to the Fort, located at 205 Hill Avenue in downtown Knoxville, all about how James and Mary White lived when Knoxville was in its infancy in the late 1700s. As a part of their Tennessee history studies, the Fourth Graders went on a fact-finding field trip earlier this semester.
