On Friday, July 4, 2014  Miami-Dade Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule.  MDT encourages passengers to be on the platform following the festivities in downtown Miami in order to board the last train, which will leave the Government Center station at approximately midnight. The public is encouraged to take transit to the 4th of July celebrations.
