The Miami-Dade Public Library System invites you to the 14th Annual International Art of Storytelling Family Festival, a free event for the entire family on Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Throughout the day, guests will experience the magic of storytelling from a variety of cultures. Children 0-12, are invited to wear their favorite costume and join in a storybook parade. There will be giant puppets from the Bit's 'N Pieces Puppet Theatre, Afro-Cuban and Tarantella dancers, Taiko drummers, Italian Renaissance Sword Fighters, minstrels, jugglers, magic show, arts & crafts, giveaways and more! The Teen Zone, which is just for youth 13-18, will feature a rock band, Cosplay contest, Karaoke and video gaming. Capping off the day will be a Carnival parade with the Bahamas Junkanoo Shakers. Free admission and free parking.
