We just love meeting our neighbors and The Downtown Miami Partnership will be gathering us up at Will Call on Thursday, March 28 starting at 5pm. We will be enjoying live music, a tasty buffet, and a complimentary drink. Awesome raffles will be going on to benefit the efforts of The Downtown Miami Partnership. click here

We will be riding through East Little Havana, West Flagler, Coral Gables Miracle Mile, Coral Way,Shenandoah, Little Havana, The Roads, Riverside, and Downtown. The route is available here, total distance is approximately 16.7 miles. It's strongly suggested that you print a copy of the map for yourself in case you are tardy or get lost. The ride stops/ends at The Filling Station, which offers specials on food & drinks for cyclists. It's located in the heart of Downtown Miami and just two blocks from Government Center. Yoani Sanchez
at Freedom Tower

Downtown Miami is proud to welcome Yoani Sanchez (born September 4, 1975)  a Cuban blogger who has achieved international fame and multiple international awards for her critical portrayal of life in Cuba under its current government. Sanchez helped to establish Contodos, a magazine that continues to act as a forum for Cuban free expression and a vehicle for reporting news. Sánchez is best known for her blog, Generación Y (Generation Y); which, despite censorship in Cuba, she is able to publish by e-mailing the blog entries to friends outside the country who then post them online. The blog is translated and available in 17 languages. Yoani will be presented with The Miami Dade College Presidential Medal. Over 800 free tickets were made available to the public by MDC and have already been distributed for this historic occasion. 


Miami Jazz Society

We are big fans of Keith Clarke, Director of Miami Jazz Society. Keith brings authentic jazz and film screenings to our iconic Miami Tower. You can take the Metromover to Knight Center Station and meet up at the 19th Floor Auditorium. There's a chance to mingle from 5:00pm-6:15pm  with the first film playing at 6:15pm followed by a second film at 8:15pm.
