Walton High School Administration and Gilbane Building Company hosted a Topping Off Ceremony the last week of school. Students, teachers and dignitaries were asked to sign a beam that would be placed atop the building. You can see the beam atop the building on the Bill Murdock side as you head toward Dodgen. FOUNDATION HOMEROOM LIAISONS
Are you looking for a way to get involved with Walton High School and your student's homeroom? If so, sign up to become a Foundation Homeroom Liaison for the upcoming school year.
Beginning with the 2016-17 school year, we would like to add a homeroom liaison to every homeroom. Did you know that your student will remain in the same homeroom for his/her 4 years at Walton? Our homeroom liaisons will communicate pertinent information to your classroom's parents. The information will be provided by Administration, PTSA, Guidance and the Foundation. It will be information relevant to your grade level. This will be a great way to be informed, get involved and Make a Difference at Walton.
All that is needed is you! We will need a "Parent Liaison" for each homeroom to help bring a more personal touch to your experience at Walton. We want to make our large school feel smaller, one homeroom at a time. Orientation
July 27th (10-12 grade students)
July 28th (freshman students)
The Foundation will host two (2) tables at the Orientation sessions on July 27th & 28th. If you donated to the Foundation after May 15th, 2016, you will be able to pick up your magnet for the 2016 campaign benefitting your student's 2016 - 2017 school year. Anyone who donates after July 1, 2016 will be donating to the 2017-2018 school year. You will also be able to pick up the new magnet at Orientation.
Please stop by our other table to learn about the new building and our plans for the upcoming school year. We look forward to talking with you and sharing our plans.

Walton's Amazing Race & Wellness Fair
October 8, 2016 on Walton High School Campus
The Walton Foundation along with the PTSA and Walton committees and clubs will host the first Amazing Race and Wellness Fair. The Race will be based on the popular TV shows with teams of two (2) people. The race will end with clues and challenges in Raider Valley where local businesses will be available at our Wellness Fair to educate us on ways to attain a healthy lifestyle. There will be music, healthy food trucks and entertainment for the whole family. Keep posted for your opportunity to enter the Amazing Race.
