As 2016 Begins.......
We look forward to completing our goals for the 2015-16 school year.
In the coming months, we would like to:
1) continue to increase our parental support. Our goal for the upcoming Class Size Reduction Campaign is 80% participation. If we reach 80%, we may qualify for corporate grants, which could help supply state-of-the-art equipment in our classrooms, science labs, theater and gymnasium.
2) retain/hire at least FIVE part-time teachers for the 2016-17 school year. To hire five part-time teachers requires at least $210K in donations. We have already received contributions totaling $35K, so we need to raise another $175K. If we had 1400 Walton families give just $125, we could meet this goal and achieve over an 80% participation rate for the year.
3) celebrate a successful 1st Annual Dinner & Auction, which will help kick-off our Class Size Reduction Campaign that will run from March 1 - March 31. To learn more about the Dinner & Auction, please

4) sell another 300 bricks to help us purchase portable hot spots to enhance connectivity within the current building.
5) expand the iPads available for student checkout from 10 to 50. To help stretch the donations received, we will be purchasing a
refurbished and warrantied iPad Air 2 for every $350 donated towards the "Say 'YES!' To An iPad In Every Classroom" campaign.

The Walton High School Foundation provides a distinct and essential role in improving the quality of student education by supporting teachers and administrators, providing up-to-date technology and supplies, and reducing class sizes in core curriculum subject areas to enhance student achievement.
We look forward to working with you in the coming months to secure the funding necessary to provide the academic excellence so important to our students.
