Dig that Dirt!
Principal, Judy McNeill, welcomed the attendees of the Spring Football games to the May 15th Groundbreaking ceremony. Mrs. McNeill's excitement for the construction of our new school building was contagious and met with loud applause and cheers. Representatives from the Cobb County School Board including, Superintendent Chris Ragsdale and School Board members Scott Sweeney and David Banks were in attendance to help us celebrate. While the Walton High School Foundation organized the Groundbreaking ceremony, we would like to thank Gilbane Building Company for their generous donation that made the event possible which includes the adorable t-shirts that were given away to the first 150 attendees. We would also like to thank members of the Walton Drum Line, Walton Chorus, Coach Joe Goydish, the Bloomer family (for donating all the ice cream), and the Walton Touchdown Club who all helped to make the evening very special!

We wish our soon to be Alumni all the best in their future endeavors. You will be missed in the halls of Walton, but we are confident you are prepared for your future and will go forth to accomplish great things.
