The CCSB voted YES to the Walton Rebuild!

The Walton Rebuild project was approved last night at the Cobb County School Board Meeting.  The school board voted 7-0 to approve $48 million as the maximum price for the first phase of the Walton High School rebuild project.

The first phase of our project - which includes 143 instructional units, most of which will be classrooms - is expected to begin in May and completed in 2017.  This approval allows the construction manager, Atlanta-based Gilbane Building Company, to immediately begin with the planned schedule.

Ground Breaking Ceremony
planned during Football's Raider Fest

Join us to celebrate the beginning of the Walton Rebuild project at our Groundbreaking ceremony on Friday, May 15th at Walton's Raider Fest.  We will have food trucks, Walton Football, music and and great fun as a part of our celebration.
The Raider Fest begins at 5pm with the JV football game. The Varsity game follows at 6:30.  Bring your family and friends to Raider Valley to celebrate the exciting news and future school building for Walton students.
