At a recent school board meeting, parents from the Walton High School Foundation and PTSA spoke to the Cobb County School Board (CCSB) regarding their concerns over the lack of progress on the Walton rebuild.  In a recent MDJ article, Superintendent Ragsdale said, "the district has been working on the project but has run into some "significant hurdles" that have slowed the process down.  However, Ragsdale stressed he is confident the project will be completed."  In addition, he said, "The district wants to start construction as soon as possible.  About two months after the board votes for final approval of a construction firm, construction could begin."  To read the complete article regarding the Walton rebuild and the budget for next year click here.
