FROM THE FUNDRAISING FRONT

 

Maintaining Walton's excellence maintains our children's strong educational opportunities.

 

Did you know Walton's Class of 2014 consisted of:

  • 657 graduates 
  • 622 attended a 4-year college (95%), 26 attended a 2 year college (4%)
  • 4 students took a GAP year, 5 students joined the military
  • Students are attending 121 different colleges and universities in 32 states and 3 countries
  • 325 students graduated with Honors, (with a weighted GPA of 3.5 or above)
  • 443 students (64.7%) earned the HOPE scholarship 
  • Not including HOPE, 2014 graduates received over $8.8 million in scholarship money

Maintaining Walton's excellence also maintains our home values. 

 

Did you know:

  • Homes within the Walton cluster are on the market half of the time of homes for sale in neighboring clusters (an average of 34 days).
  • The list price and final sale price for homes within the Walton cluster are at least 37% higher than in neighboring clusters.
  • Homes within the Walton cluster sell for 98% of the list price (on average).
