Progress continues on plans for the Walton Re-Build. Work in the field is still scheduled to begin this semester. The schematic documents, as reviewed by Principal McNeill, include the following high points:

• No reduction in overall parking spaces during construction;
• An acoustically engineered theater to seat an audience of 750;
• Seating for 3,000 in the Main Gym, which also includes an indoor running track on the balcony level;
• Two-story media center, which includes a 100 seat theater style classroom for collaborative class teaching;
• Campus wide WiFi access for all with ample charging stations throughout the buildings; and,
• Substantial increase in natural lighting, with the majority of classrooms having exterior windows.

We will continue to provide updates on design and construction as soon as the information becomes available.
