Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette with Govt. Relations Chair Bill Golden

The Chamber is looking for a few good business men  and women to serve on its Government Relations Committee. We need Chamber members in good standing seeking an active role in discerning local and state issues to help shape input on issues and positions that impact Chamber businesses and the economic climate for Northern Michigan.

A Sharp Focus on Business

There are thousands of successful business stories in Northern Michigan, unique and inspiring in their own way. Each Wednesday morning at 8:30 the Chamber's Weekly Entrepreneur Focus airs on NewsTalk 580 WTCM-AM, where host Ron Jolly and Chamber Executive Director Laura Oblinger sit down with a local business owner and talk about how they've built their enterprise. It's an informative half hour that shines a spotlight on the talent and dedication in our local business community.

A Festival of Photos

The business community always steps up in a big way to support the National Cherry Festival. The 89th annual NCF kicking off this Saturday is no exception, and the Chamber wants to highlight its members helping out at the area's signature summer festival.

If you have images of your business and its employees helping out at festival activities, email them to staff writer Bill O'Brien at  [email protected] and we'll post them throughout the festival next week across the Chamber's social media platforms.

Best wishes from the Chamber for a Happy July 4 Holiday and a safe and enjoyable National Cherry Festival!
