City Commission Considers Accessory Dwelling Units

At the City Commission meeting on March 16 a big topic of discussion will be consideration of an ordinance to allow for accessory dwelling units and/or in-home or above-garage apartment units. Approval could open up the options for young professional affordable housing within the City. In order to share your thoughts please attend the City Commission meeting on March 16 at the Governmental Center. The meeting will be held in the Commission Chambers on the second floor. Can't attend the meeting? Send an email to all City Commissioners here!

Leadership at the Movies: Don't Miss the Sequel in April

The first take of Leadership at the Movies was a great success! There was a great turnout and an engaging and informative discussion at the February 11 session lead by Nathan Havey of Thrive Consulting (pictured). The new program was received very well and we can't wait to launch the sequel coming April 22 at Bijou by the Bay. It will feature the film "300" and be facilitated by Todd Sanders of Sanders Solutions. The discussion topic will be, "How Leadership, Creativity, and Innovation are Connected".
