Join us at the TC Chamber's Annual Celebration!

What better way to kick off the Chamber's 100th year than by joining us for the Annual Celebration? The Annual Celebration is a definite can't-miss gathering for the region's business community. Join us on Friday, January 23 for a special evening of fun, honor, and entertainment at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa.

Register now to be guaranteed a seat!

Prior to the Annual Celebration, the YPs will be meeting upstairs at Aerie (top floor in the Grand Traverse Resort Tower) from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. for drinks and networking. Please join us and mingle with your fellow YPs before heading down to the celebration!

The Annual Celebration will also honor Susanne (Susie) Janis, the 2014 Distinguished Service Award recipient from the Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce. Janis is recognized for her nearly four decades of volunteer service. She was also among the first women to serve as a director for the Traverse City Area Chamber and was instrumental in the development of the Smith Family Breast Health Center. Learn more about Janis and her accomplishments here.

Helping in Our Community Throughout 2015

At our December meeting, 2015 YP Chair Allison Beers asked everyone to bring in nonperishable food items or a monetary donation to go to a food pantry in our region. YPs Josh Janowiak and Courtney Sorrell dropped the food off at the Father Fred Foundation after the meeting, and the folks at Father Fred (Mary, Tab, and Anne in the photo) gave them a tour of the facility.

Our donation was so successful that the YPs unanimously decided to donate to food pantries throughout 2015! If you attend one of the monthly meetings at the Chamber this next year, please bring along a nonperishable food item (or two!) that Josh and Courtney will drop off at a regional pantry after the meeting. It's the easiest way to help those in our community all year long!

Free popcorn, movies, and volunteering ...what's not to love?

Join us for our monthly YP volunteer event at the State Theatre on Tuesday, January 27 from 5:15-7:15 p.m. All volunteers receive a FREE movie voucher and popcorn!  Sign up or e-mail Erika Wiltse with questions ([email protected]).

Come Volunteer for Business After Hours in 2015

This month's BAH will be January 21 from 5 - 7 p.m. at the Corner Loft on Front Street, co-hosted by Corner Loft and Next I.T. We hope to see you there!
