We Want to Hear from You

The Chamber is working to improve communications with its members by creating a two-way communication stream through the weekly TraverseCONNECT E-Bulletin. Readers can now offer feedback on news stories, Chamber events, programs, legislative issues and other Bulletin content. Simply click on the Offer Your Input box and let us know what you think.

A Salute to Our Charter Members
The Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce will celebrate its 100th Anniversary in 2015. In the coming weeks and months we'll share the stories of area businesses that supported their Chamber over the decades. Our membership records date to 1935, and a handful of area businesses have been with us from the start. See who tops the Chamber's list of membership longevity.

Healthy Michigan Delivers Care to Thousands

The Northern Michigan Chamber Alliance strongly advocated this year for Medicaid expansion. Those efforts are now paying significant community dividends in Northern Michigan and across the state. Analyzing the Road Plans

Michigan's Senate and House of Representatives passed widely varying road and infrastructure proposals in this month's lame duck legislative session in Lansing. Lawmakers are working this week on compromise proposals and the Northern Michigan Chamber Alliance is closely monitoring the discussions. Chamber/Alliance Government Relations Director Kent Wood's Northern Michigan Business Blog outlines the two proposals and other highlights of the road debate.
