TCYP Brief

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2015 TCYP CHAIR, ALLISON BEERS!

If you attended our annual TCYP Conference in October, then you've already heard the great news. Founding member and longtime Young Professionals Coordinator Allison Beers was announced as our 2015 TCYP Chair!

"I am so honored and thrilled to serve as the 2015 Young Professionals Chair," Allison said. "As a founding member of the program and the coordinator for the last five years, I am very excited to step into this new role within the program. We have built such momentum over the last few years and I am eager to keep this going. I look forward to representing the YPs on the Chamber board and being the voice for us."

Allison is the owner of Events North, an event management agency, and Put Your Phone Down, a business etiquette presentation she delivers all over the state. She is a board member of Rotary Charities, the Downtown Traverse City Association and the Cherry Festival Foundation, where she spent three years as the President of the board.  For the last seven years, the Traverse City Business News named her one of the 40 Most Influential Business People Under 40. She has received the honor of Best Event Planner for three years from Michigan Meetings & Events Magazine, and in 2014 was inducted to its Hall of Fame as Best Event Planner. We are excited to have her lead us in the year ahead!
