Chamber Expo Filling Fast

The Chamber Business Expo is coming up Nov. 11 at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa. Almost 100 exhibitors are registered for the event. But there are still good exhibit spaces available, including two prime locations for food vendors. If you haven't yet reserved space, click here to ensure a spot at the region's largest business showcase.

There are just a few seats remaining for the Economic Outlook Breakfast, also on Nov. 11 at the resort from 7 - 9 a.m. just before the Expo. Get an overview on the regional, state and local economy from a panel of experts. Click here to get a seat before they're gone.

A Micro Celebration

It was just over a year ago that the Chamber and Fifth Third Bank teamed up to launch the Sub Micro Loan Fund that's provided small business funding for several local companies to launch new products, buy equipment or replenish their inventories. This Thursday, the Chamber and Fifth Third Bank will bring together these companies to celebrate their success.

The good news? The Sub Micro Loan Fund that's supported by the Traverse City Area Chamber Foundation and Fifth Third Bank still has $50,000 available to help your company grow. It's among several business financing programs available through TraverseCONNECT that can help your company reach new heights. Click here to learn what's available.

The fall season is a great time to take in the Chamber's Business After Hours events. The busy summer season is behind us and it's a great chance to re-connect with fellow business people and learn what's happening around town.

Business After Hours returns Oct. 15, where we'll head to the headquarters of primary BAH sponsors Grand Traverse Ophthalmology Clinic at 929 Business Park Drive for an evening of fun, food, prizes and more. It's from 5 - 7 p.m. - see you there!
