Expo/Outlook Breakfast Open for Business

When summer winds down it means the region's biggest business event of the year is gearing up! The Traverse City Area Chamber's annual  Economic Outlook Breakfast and Business Expo return Nov. 11 at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa.

 

The day-long Expo features more than 140 exhibitors that display their products and services to 1,300-plus attendees, and allows for large-scale networking opportunities within the region's business community. Exhibit booths are just $500 for Chamber members and $800 for non-members, and you can register by clicking here.

Preceding the Expo is the 2015 Economic Outlook Breakfast starting at 7:30 a.m. The annual event looks at highlights and trends in the regional, state and national economy, and offers expert panelists to look ahead at the ever-changing business climate. This year's Outlook Breakfast will feature Daniel J. Loepp, President/CEO of Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Michigan, along with the return of Mitchell Stapley, Chief Investment Officer of Clear Arc Capital.

Hundreds of Sourcing Opportunities

The largest Pure Michigan Business Connect summit to date takes place this October. Dozens of Michigan's largest operations ranging from Ford Motor Co. and Consumers Energy to the Detroit Tigers and Red Wings have more than 380 procurement opportunities that they want to fill using Michigan companies.

 

The deadline to apply is this Friday, Sept. 5, and companies will select from those applications for the match making summit to take place next month in Lansing. Click here to apply.

Nominations for up to three directors to serve on the Chamber's Board of Directors commencing Jan. 1 are needed by Friday, Sept. 19.
