Take the YP Incubator Survey

National research shows 80 percent of new businesses that start out in a business incubator succeed within five years. The Traverse City Young Professionals is considering implementation of a Business Incubator/Accelerator Program through the Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce to mentor innovative entrepreneurs in the Traverse City and provide the needed tools for their success.

If you're interested in such an opportunity, click here to complete a brief survey to help the TCYP Task Force gather the necessary data to evaluate the concept.  Learn more about other activities of the TCYP program by clicking here.
Proposal 1 Solidly Approved by Voters

Michigan voters came through in a big way to pass Proposal 1 at Tuesday's primary election with nearly 70 percent voter approval state-wide. The Traverse City Area Chamber and Northern Michigan Chamber Alliance supported Proposal 1, and Government Relations Director Kent Wood made numerous media appearances across Northern Michigan to explain and endorse this important piece of property tax reform. Thanks to all the Chamber members who worked to support Proposal 1.
