The first headline event of the 2014 Small Business Celebration arrives a week from today: the SBC Candidates Showcase! Join us April 9 from 5 - 7 p.m. at NMC's Hagerty Center to see who's in the running for the Chamber's 2014 Hagerty Small Business of the Year. Click here for the 20-plus businesses that applied and will take part in the Showcase.

Rothwell on Michigan's Economy

Get a reading on Michigan's economy and what's needed to keep it growing at a free program hosted by the Chamber on April 30 featuring Doug Rothwell, a former state official and head of Business Leaders for Michigan. Join us at NMC's Hagerty Center from 9 - 10:30 a.m. for an update on the BLM's Michigan Turnaround Plan.

Be an Ambassador for Your Chamber

Ready to grow your business contacts and build your community? Join the Chamber's revived Ambassador Program. We're looking for 12 to 15 of our members to update business owners on available Chamber programs and services, and promote the benefits of belonging to the Chamber to member businesses and non-members alike. It's a great opportunity to learn more about the Chamber and reach out to others in the business community.
