Second 'Careers' Edition to Launch

Two years ago the Chamber and MyNorthMedia launched "Careers" magazine as a guide for professionals wanting to relocate in the Grand Traverse region. This widely distributed publication highlighted the local economy, towns and neighborhoods, recreation and cultural amenities and more. Plans are underway for an updated edition to be released later this summer.

Previous poll results: The question from Feb. 26 on whether the state should use its estimated $970 million budget surplus to offer tax relief or use it for state services drew less than 40 responses. But more than 85 percent of those favored using the surplus for state expenditures, with several calling for more funding for roads and schools. Thanks for your input.
