Metro Chambers Push Federal Goals

Kent Wood, director of government relations for the Chamber and Northern Michigan Chamber Alliance, spent a productive few days in Washington, D.C. last week as part of the annual fly-in of the Great Lakes Metro Chambers Coalition. A Year of Achievement in Early Childhood

Susan Broman, deputy superintendent of the Michigan Department of Education Office of Great Start, reflected on Michigan's achievements in early childhood over the past year in a recent presentation to more 1,000 early childhood professionals at the Michigan Early Childhood Collaborative annual conference in Dearborn.
