Clackamas Federal Credit Union is premiere sponsor of CCC's Viva Clackamas
Representatives from Clackamas Federal Credit Union present President Joanne Truesdell with a sponsorship check.

The Clackamas Community College Foundation is throwing a party and Clackamas Federal Credit Union has stepped up to be the premiere sponsor of "Viva Clackamas."

Clackamas Federal Credit Union contributed $50,000 as premiere sponsor of the Nov. 7 gala at the Oregon Golf Club. The sponsorship will provide ten CCC scholarships to students in the 2015-16 school year.

"I am honored to be part of our donation to CCC to continue support of education in Clackamas County," said credit union board member Barry Rotrock, former superintendent of the Oregon City School District. "We hope to continue our partnership with the college and look for additional opportunities to work together."

"Viva Clackamas" launches the final year of the Foundation's $10 million campaign that culminates with the college's 50th anniversary in 2016. The campaign will provide $7.5 million for endowments and scholarships and $2.5 million for community projects, such as restoration of the headwaters of Newell Creek at the Environmental Learning Center.
