CVNA Member Spotlight...

Children's Cancer Connection was established in 1988 to provide programs and services to children battling childhood cancer. Quickly it was obvious that the disease not only affects the child but it also affects the entire family. Our programs and services have grown with that in mind.
Today Children's Cancer Connection offers a large variety of programs and services centered on our mission to enhance the quality of life for families affected by childhood cancer by providing programs for education, recreation and support. We provide these programs for all families affected by childhood cancer who are living, treated or diagnosed in the state of Iowa, regardless of outcome.
Our services include: Camps & Retreats, Hospital-Based Programs, Support Services & Family Outings, and Survivor-ship Services.
The entire family. The entire journey.
Our programs and services are offered at little or no cost, and no one is ever turned away because of financial consideration. They are made possible by the generous support of hundreds of individuals as well as numerous service clubs, businesses, and foundations. We receive no state or federal funding and are not part of the United Way. Individuals may choose to support us through their workplace giving programs by electing to use the "Donor Choice" option.
We are successful because of the support of more than 40,000 hours of volunteer service every year. Our volunteers serve in many roles. They provide general office help, are program volunteers, assist in our fundraising efforts, child care providers during support groups, and camp staff at every level. Strategies for Cross-Channel Marketing
When: Thursday February 18, 2016
Time: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 PM
In nonprofit marketing, theory often runs up against reality-we know we need to reach out across all our different channels in a harmonious (and efficient) way, but the day-to-day scramble often means we lose sight of the big picture. Idealware partnered with our friends at TechImpact and The NonProfit Times to bring you this panel of nonprofit marketing experts, who will discuss the challenges nonprofits face and offer their perspectives on how you can more effectively communicate across all your many channels.
