If you attended Dr. Mark Grey's presentation in October, you know that the Cedar Valley is facing rapid demographic changes.  You also know that determining how to respond to these changes can be challenging.

During this presentation, you'll learn how one Cedar Valley Nonprofit Association member - Veridian Credit Union - has worked to become a more inclusive organization.    Veridian will describe their philosophy and their efforts.  They'll also field questions from other nonprofits.

We hope to see you at this session.  If your organization would like to showcase an effort or an initiative, please  click here.

Great News For Grant Gurus...

Next year the Grantsmanship Center plans to host a training in Des Moines

What:  Grantsmanship Training Program
Where: Des Moines, IA
When:  May 2 - 6, 2016

The "gold standard." Interactive and dynamic. The training of choice for nonprofit, academic and government agencies! This course is about grant thinking-the most critical part of the entire grant proposal writing process. But this is no quiet, abstract, strictly cerebral scene. We use Listen & Discuss, Do & Review our trademarked curriculum where you join in and connect the learning with what you care about most.  Work with colleagues in a supportive and energetic team. Experience how good planning leads to good proposal writing. Every class covers the same in-depth curriculum, while also customized to fit the group's needs. No cookie-cutters. No canned "grant writing." Our trainers bring their decades of experience to help you explain what your organization does and why it deserves funding.
You'll use The Grantsmanship Center's 8-point Logic Model that has become the industry standard. You'll leave equipped with real experience plus copies of all team proposals created and reviewed in class. Expand your skills with grant proposal thinking and grant proposal writing that lead to grant success!

Training Hours
Class begins at 8:30 AM each day and ends by 5:30 PM, except Fridays when class ends at 1 PM.
On Wednesdays, groups have the option to work until 7 PM.

Tuition for this training is $995.  Save $100! Register and pay by March 21 for Early-bird Discount and pay only $895! (Only one discount allowed per registration.) For groups, call us about qualifying for discounts: (800) 421-9512.
