Organization profiles will be shared with students before the event.  The format of the event will consist of "speed interviewing" with 5-6 rounds/rotations. Each organization representative will meet with approximately 20 students.  We hope you will join us!

  We are celebrating 50 years of Gold Star Awards

When:  Saturday, February 14th

Time:   10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. 

Where: 166 West Airline Highway, Waterloo.

Donate $1.00 and smooch with a pooch at the kissing booth from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) awarded the CBHS a grant to ready 50 dogs and cats for this Valentine's Day event. The grant monies will be used to vaccinate, neuter, spay, heartworm test and flea treat 25 dogs and 25 cats in preparation for the CBHS's "Adopt the Love of Your Life" Valentine's Day event.

Grant applications can now be submitted to the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa for its 2015 spring grant cycle. The deadline to submit applications is midnight (CST) April 1, 2015. 

 Grants are awarded to projects in the following areas: art and culture, community betterment, education, environment, health, historic preservation and human service.

The online grant application may be found on the Community Foundation's website at www.cfneia.org. Grants recipients will be announced June 2015.
