Cost: $25 for CVNA members, $50 non-members

Proposals Needed...

Cedar Valley United Way is accepting proposals to develop and implement an expanded major and planned giving donor program.
This expansion will support the strategic plan directives including:
- Growing resources to meet the needs of the community.
- Targeting resources toward programs and initiatives that have the highest sustainable positive impact in the Cedar Valley.
This contract will:
- Include developing a plan for expanded major and planned giving program
- Include identifying prospects through market research
- Have expectations of donor solicitations
- Have expectations of achieving increased funds to annual fund
- Have expectations of achieving an increase in closed planned gifts
All research will be property of Cedar Valley United Way. The vendor chosen will have technical expertise in tax and legal aspects of
charitable giving. The contract term will be one year with the option to renew or terminate as needed.

Job Title: Marketing Associate
The Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa is seeking a highly motivated individual for a new Marketing Associate position. The Marketing Associate reports to and works closely with the Director of Marketing and Communication to strengthen and improve the quality of life in northeast Iowa through the effective implementation of marketing and communication plans and initiatives of the Community Foundation. The individual in this position is responsible for assisting with the development, scheduling and production of marketing and communication projects and materials, and helps ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with the brand and overall Community Foundation strategies.

Job Title: AmeriCorps Vista Food Bank Volunteer Recruitment and Fundraising Coordinator

As a Vista member for the Northeast Iowa Food Bank you will be responsible for increasing community outreach to acquire new volunteers for the Food Bank programs. You will have the opportunity to give Food Bank tours, perform volunteer orientations, schedule volunteer hours, attend volunteer fairs and help secure sponsorships and volunteers for annual Food Bank events. You will play a major role as a Food Bank advocate to increase public awareness of food insecurity and ultimately increase volunteerism and financial donors. You will create volunteer newsletters and perform regular maintenance on the Food Bank website pertaining to volunteer opportunities. Additionally, you will maintain a solid online presence through social media sites and other social platforms to create interest in the Northeast Iowa Food Bank programs and events.
