Innovation Workshop ...

Off the Back of the Napkin: A mini-workshop to get your innovation moving

What:   Innovation Workshop

When:  Thursday, October 2, 2014
Where: Philanthropy Center (425 Cedar Street, Waterloo - 3rd Floor)
Time:   8:00 - 9:30 a.m.
Presenter:  Stacy Van Gorp @ McElroy Trust

Do you have an great idea scribbled on the back of a napkin, an awesome concept  stuck in your head, or an inspirational idea you know could change the world?

It's time to put your idea on a path towards reality.  During this mini-workshop you'll take the first steps to move from "just an idea" to a "product that gets results". Organizations that innovate effectively begin by clarifying, experimenting, testing, and learning. These activities are critical to innovation success, yet are often over-looked . Using a thoughtful, yet rapid, process to kickstart innovation, will help your organization innovate faster, while minimizing the risks of launching something new.

NOTE: Participants must bring an idea for innovative project, product or process and come ready to work!  Your concept need not be perfect or complete, but it should be a single concept that is easily understood, clear, and compelling. You will be sharing your idea.

Free to CVNA members; $25 non-members.  Please click here to register for this great workshop.
