Please join the CVNA and guest speaker Lynn Smith on April 3rd as she will discuss the 5 misunderstandings of employment law.

Lynn Smith, a partner with Swisher & Cohrt, P.L.C. has been practicing law with the firm since May 2011.  Prior to that she was a partner with Dutton, Braun, Staack & Hellman, P.L.C. She is engaged in the General Practice of law, including but not limited to Employment Law, Business Law, Real Estate Law, Wills, and Probate. She is licensed to practice law in both State and Federal Courts in Iowa. She is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

In 2001 she was appointed by the Governor to serve as a member of the Iowa Title Guaranty Board. She is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Iowa Bar Association. She has also had the opportunity to speak to professional associations about various topics, including Employment Law issues and many other legal topics.
