SEEKING GRANT FUNDS?

Request for Proposals: Iowa Women's Foundation 2014 Grants

The Iowa Women's Foundation (IWF) is accepting grant proposals for its annual grant-giving cycle for projects that begin on January 1, 2014 or later. The Foundation is seeking applications for projects that advance economic security and/or promote leadership opportunities for Iowa women and girls.

The deadline for applications is Friday, May 31, 2013 at
5 p.m.

All projects applying for funding from the IWF must be specifically for women and/or girls in Iowa. Informal groups of women and/or girls, grassroots organizations, and formal not-for-profit organizations may apply for funding. All proposed activities must be not-for-profit in nature. The IWF seeks to fund projects that go beyond the provision of direct services to create underlying social change. Together we can build a stronger statewide network of services for Iowa women and girls. Explore
our new online searchable database and share your feedback.

GRANTS IMPACTING CHILDREN

RMHC-Eastern Iowa Grants to Help Local Children

Area non-profits can now apply for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Iowa (RMHC of Eastern Iowa) grant. Looking to improve the health and well-being of children beyond the walls of the Ronald McDonald House of Iowa City, RMHC of Eastern Iowa will award over $35,000 to local organizations dedicated to the same mission.

The RMHC of Eastern Iowa Grants Program aims to make an impact on children's lives by awarding grants to qualified non-profit organizations assisting thousands of children outside of the Ronald McDonald House. Over the course of its five year existence with RMHC of Eastern Iowa, this program has impacted over 17,000 children that never had the need to step inside the Ronald McDonald House of Iowa City.

Applications for the grants are due no later than September 3, 2013.

Information and applications for the RMHC of Eastern Iowa Grants Program can be found at www.rmhc-easterniowa.org.  For more information, please contact Beth Pfohl at (319) 356.8302 or [email protected].
