Childhood Should Be a Happy, Carefree Time

Unfortunately, for many children it is a time of turmoil and uncertainty.  Each of our precious Ugandan Lambs has a unique story.  All have experienced the death of parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  Some have experienced abuse at the hands of the caregivers that were supposed to be helping them.  Most of them have only vague memories of what it was like before they were enrolled in the ULA program. There seemed to be no hope for the future.  Child sponsorship gives the GIFT of HOPE!

Child sponsorship allows the children to be exposed to the Gospel message, giving them ETERNAL HOPE!  Additionally, physical needs are met and school fees are paid giving them HOPE for the foreseeable future.

Education is the Key to Future Success
All of the children in our program are enrolled in boarding school.  Our In-Country Administrator (Ronald) diligently seeks schools that have high scholastic standards based on national achievement test scores.  School fees are our largest expditure; however, the goal is to make the program self sustaining by equipping the graduates with the tools necessary to become gainfully employed.  Once the graduates are employed they are expected to help support the younger children who are still in school.

Please consider full or partial sponsorship of a child.  A gift of $1000.00 (or $88.00 per month) will support a child for one year and change his/her life forever.   Gifts of any amount are greatly appreciated!

Wishing each of you a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!

CATHERINE'S STORY

Catherine was enrolled in the ULA program in 2013 when she was 9 years. She does not know when her parents died and nothing is known about them.  She was living with an elderly relative who could not adequately provide for her. She does not have any siblings.

Being accepted into the ULA program has given her the opportunity to receive a quality education.  She plans to become a nurse. Help to rewrite her story. Consider becoming her sponsor!

Diana's parents died when she was 3 years old.  An elderly relative cared for Diana and her siblings (John, Robinah and Ezekial) until her death.  All four children were enrolled in the Ugandan Lambs program and have been cared for at the Kayunga home for many years.
