JULY EVENTS

June 23-July 3: Swim Lessons at Hanna Springs Pool. Classes will be at 9am,10am & 11am. Contact Hanna Springs Pool at 512-556-4048.
 
July 1: Library pre-school story time at 10 a.m. Contact Library at 512-556-3251.

June 2-August 23: 2015 Pool Season. Hanna Pool Season opens June 2nd Tues.-Sat. 12-7pm. Sun. 1-6pm. Closed Mondays. Hancock Pool Season opens June 4th Thurs.-Sat. 12-7pm. Sunday 1-6pm. Closed Mon., Tues. & Wed. Contact Hanna Pool for more information 512-556-4048. During the week of the Spring Ho Festival (July 6-11) pool hours will be modified for water sports activities.

June 2: Water Aerobics starts. Tuesdays & Thursdays from 7-8pm at Hanna Springs Pool. $8 per class or $40 (8 classes). Contact Pool Manager at 512-734-1315. Classes on 7/7 & 7/9 are cancelled.

July 3-4: City offices & Library will be closed in observance of Independence Day. Waste Management services will run on schedule.

July 4: Moonlight Swim at Hancock Springs Pool from 8-11 p.m. There will be live music and a pot-luck supper (attendees are asked to bring a covered dish). Drinks will be provided. General admission is $3.50/per adult and $2.50/per child.

July 6-12: Spring Ho Festival!

July 8: Library pre-school story time at 10 a.m. Contact Library at 512-556-3251.

July 9: 30th Annual Curtis Bozarth Senior Classic Golf Tournament. Contact Golf Pro Shop 512-556-3202.

July 10-11: 2015 Lampasas Spring Ho BBQ Cook-Off at Cooper Springs Nature Park. Contact Lampasas Chamber of Commerce at 512-556-5172.

July 10-12: Lampasas Spring Ho Festival Softball Tournament at the 580 Sports Complex. Contact Greg Huchinson at 979-774-9408.

July 11: 35th Annual Toughest 10k in Texas & 5k Race at 8 a.m. at the Hancock Park Pavilion. Contact Lampasas Chamber of Commerce at 512-556-5172.

July 11: Lampasas Public Library will be closed.

July 11: 2015 Spring Ho Cardboard Regatta at Hanna Springs Pool from 3-5 p.m. Contact Pool Manager at 512-734-1315 or Hanna Springs Pool at 512-556-4048.

July 18-19: Britches & Bows Golf Tournament at 1 p.m. During this tournament the Golf Course will be closed. Contact Golf Pro Shop at 512-556-3202.

July 23: Scrapbooking class at the Lampasas Public Library from 5-7 p.m. Class size limited to 20. $5 to cover cost of supplies (due at time of registration). Register at the Library by July 9th. Contact Library at 512-556-3251.

Photo-of-the-Month Contest: Enter our photo-of-the-month contest by visiting www.cityoflampasas.com for contest rules and emailing your photo to photocontest@cityoflampasas.com . The City Council will announce the monthly winning photo at the first regular City Council meeting. Winners will receive a City of Lampasas insulated tumbler w/straw and posting of their photo on the web site.

 

Can You Be Located In An Emergency? The owner of every house or building within the City is required to have a house number placed theron that is readily visible from the public right-of-way on which the structure fronts or faces. The numbers shall be a minimum of three inches in height and contrast with the background on which they are placed, made of material that will not tarnish, corrode or deteriorate unreasonably. Not only will this assist emergency personnel but the US Postal service as well.
