  • HOTEL VAN FOR SALE  The Boothill Inn is selling our 2000 GMC Savannah passenger van.  Seats 7 comfortably, plus the driver.  Lots of additional room for luggage.  The van has 151,000 miles on it and we are asking $4,500.  It is in great shape for its age.  We have replaced upholstery and kept up with regular maintenance faithfully.  We will remove all Boothill logos.  What a deal!

Some hotels are starting to manage visitors’ previously ad hoc use of seats, tables and nooks — and, in some cases, charging for it. For the hotels, the space has become an untapped source of additional revenue and new customers who live and work nearby.

Job Description / Summary:
Responsible for overall account management, business generation, and sales prospecting for hotel property. Make cold calls, manage existing and new client relationships’ maximizing revenue management, and work with all hotel departments to deliver a positive experience for the guests. Manage sales department and department associates.

Executive Housekeeper:
Job Description / Summary:
Responsible for assigning and supervising work activities of Housekeeping and Laundry department associates to insure clean laundry and clean, orderly and attractive guest rooms, meeting rooms, lobby and all other common areas of the hotel. This is a working supervisor position.

Railroad shipments of crude oil triple in 2012

The Association of American Railroads trade group said Thursday that U.S. freight railroads hauled 233,811 carloads of crude oil in 2012. That's up from 65,751 carloads the previous year.

Delta receives first Bakken crude shipment at refinery

Delta Air Lines has received its first shipment of Bakken crude oil at its refinery in Trainer, Pa. The crude oil will be refined into jet fuel for Delta’s airplanes. The airline is the latest U.S. company to capitalize on North Dakota’s growing energy industry. It is using Bakken crude to improve profits and retain the 400 jobs at its refinery.

Delta previously announced that it’s beginning air service between Dickinson and its Minneapolis hub starting June. 10.
