GSSCC's Non-Profit Team has rescheduled the Maximize Your Impact & Grow the Community Workshop to Tuesday, March 1, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at AFI Silver Theatre & Cultural Center (8633 Colesville Road). Representatives from GSSCC's small, medium, and large businesses and representatives from three non-profit members will discuss how the "real needs" of both organizations can be achieved. Focus will include: effective ways businesses and their employees are involved with non-profits and the types of engagements that work (i.e. time, talent, treasure); how a business and a non-profit can create a solid relationship rather than just a transaction; and how business involvement impacts the greater community and why that involvement is good for businesses. This free workshop is open to all GSSCC members. Register here.
