Calling all authors! The fourth annual Soon to be Famous Illinois Author Project is now accepting applications for its 2017 contest. Librarians will judge self-published adult fiction by Illinois authors to select and promote a winner. In addition to the many great promotional benefits, this year's winner will also receive a $1,000 cash prize, sponsored by BiblioBoard.

October Art Gallery Exhibits

Our second floor art gallery is now showing oil paintings by Stephanie Boesso.

The gallery's display cases contain books and other items in recognition of Filipino American History Month from the Philippine American Cultural Foundation.
 
Both displays run through the end of October.
