Building Community Kick-Off Event
Saturday, June 4, 1-3 p.m.

Kick off summer by building extravagant structures using KEVA planks, LEGOs, Toobalinks, and Strawbees! Pick up your reading log and get a yard sign. Enjoy sweet treats and have lots of fun!
Summer Reading Challenge for Kids

Starting June 4, kids (birth-grade 6) can make a reading pledge. All that's needed to get started is a reading log available at the Kids & Teens Ask Us Desk.

Set a Goal

Because we're all different, kids will set their own reading goal.

Re-up the Goal

Once they've reached their goal, they can

s t r e t c h themselves to read even more. If they reach their new goal, they will earn an additional ticket for our grand prize drawing.

Rewards

When kids reach their goal, they will receive one free

book of their choosing and a ticket for our grand prize drawing. To

redeem this offer, they must show their completed log to staff.

Get a Yard Sign!

When kids and teens tell us how many books they will read this summer, they can get a "A Reader Lives Here!" yard sign to display at home. One sign per household. While supplies last. Email a photo of your kids and their sign to youthservices@ippl.info
and your family could be a winner!
