Share Your IPPL Story!

This year, the library will focus on community and connecting, and put the spotlight on local organizations, with Better Together: Celebrating Local Connections.

As part of Better Together, we're inviting you to share your story. How has IPPL affected your life? What does the library mean to you? How have we helped you? What have you learned at the library?

If you have a story to tell, please share it with us. We'll be using your stories to celebrate our community, inspire others, encourage connections and, of course, to promote the library.

Everyone has a story. What's yours? Visit shareyourstory.ippl.info to contribute or learn more.
Looking for inspiration? Willowbrook resident Dolores Cyze used the library's 3D printer to create the flexible joints needed for a prosthetic hand for her son, Billy. Read Dolores' story in our summer newsletter.

Are you in your 20s or 30s? Try our
#LibSocial programs and GenLit book club

The library has a lot to offer adults in their 20s and 30s, from programs to a book club to a collection just for them. Read more about them and see what's on tap for this summer in a recent Suburban Life Community Voice column written by Jez, one of our adult services librarians.

And don't forget to sign up for our Digital Media Makerspace on Friday, June 3, 7-9 p.m. You'll get to experiment with our digital media equipment and learn how to make videos with special effects, use a green screen, record a podcast, play a digital instrument, or create something with our 3D printer. For 20-30 somethings only.
Library Closed May 29 & 30

We will be closed Sunday and Monday, May 29 and 30, for Memorial Day. Our book drops will be open, and our website is available 24/7. You can renew and reserve materials online, or visit our eLibrary.

Please be aware that our catalog will have some database maintenance done over Memorial Day weekend. The catalog will remain accessible, however patrons may have limited access to materials and some searches may produce incomplete results.
