Join other genealogists to use the library's resources after-hours on Saturday, Oct. 10, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Genealogy Club members will be on hand to help. Register here
Keeping Your Children Safe Online


The Internet Safety Specialist from the Attorney General's Office will be at the library to present ways parents can protect their children online on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 6-8:15 p.m.

Learn how to write an eye-catching and informative resume this Saturday, Sept. 26, 2-3:30 p.m. We'll cover format and function, as well as library resources.

Homebound Delivery

Home delivery of library materials can be arranged at no charge if an IPPL cardholder is permanently homebound due to age or disability, or temporarily disabled for at least one month due to illness or surgery. Do you have your tickets yet? 

Join us for Dancing in the Spooky Stacks, the IPPL Foundation's unique fundraising event featuring an after-hours library performance by The Neverly Brothers, on Saturday, Oct. 24, 7-10 p.m. 

Costume contest, cash bar, and light snacks will be available. Must be 21 or older to attend.

Tickets are available for purchase at the library. They are $20 in advance, $30 starting Oct. 5, and $40 at the door (while supplies last). VIP tickets (limited quantity) are $50 and include a meet and greet with the band, reserved seating with a full view of the stage, an autographed event poster signed by the band, and two beverage tickets.

Proceeds will be used to support children's literacy and learning.

Library Card Sign-up Month

September is Library Card Sign-up Month, and kids who sign up for their first IPPL card will receive a specially-designed card just for kids, a kid-sized book bag, as well as a special Snoopy sticker and bookmark. Those renewing their card will also get a Snoopy sticker and bookmark.
