No Air Conditioning May 27-June 4

Please be advised that the library's chiller is being replaced, so the library will be without air conditioning
Wednesday, May 27 through Thursday, June 4.

The library's chiller, original to the building when it opened in 1996, has been failing, and is being replaced with a new high-efficiency "green" model. The new chiller will result in increased energy savings for the library.

The old chiller will be removed on May 27, and the new chiller will be up and running by June 4. Unfortunately, the library will not have air conditioning in between these dates.

Please be advised the building may seem a little warm, but know we will work to keep it as comfortable as possible. Our air handler will be "on" so air will be moving, and we will try to control the humidity as best we can.
