While we are thrilled to have a new online catalog and its great new features, SWAN has been experiencing some hiccups with the new software. Please feel free to contact the library if you see anything unusual with your checkout record. Also, our staff is happy to demonstrate how to use the new catalog. Celebrating Home with Meg Caswell

Meg Caswell Spend an evening with Meg Caswell, Chicago interior design guru and season six winner of HGTV's Design Star, next Thursday, April 30, 7-8:30 p.m. at Ashton Place, 341 75th St. in Willowbrook. She will share her perspective on what home means to her, as well as answer interior design questions and provide tips on how to make your home a happy and beautiful place. Free Comic Book Day

Drop in for our 2nd annual Free Comic Book Day on Saturday, May 2, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Meet Babymouse, take a chance on a scratch-off prize ticket, create your own comic or superhero shield, and, of course, get a free comic book (while supplies last)! Don't miss the photo booth and costume contest, with prizes donated by Graham Cracker Comics. Fun (and comic books) for all ages!
