New Catalog Goes Live April 14

Don't forget, our online catalog will have a new look and new features starting next Tuesday, April 14! The following are important things you need to know about the transition taking place April 11-14.

To learn more about the new catalog, visit newcatalog.ippl.info.

Catalog "View Only" April 11-14

During the software transition, online catalog access will be limited April 11-14.

The catalog will be "view-only," which means you will not be able to login to your account, place holds, or renew items online during this time. Staff will not be able to place holds either.

You will be able to search for titles online, but item availability will not be up-to-date during the transition. If you use the catalog April 11-14, please contact the library to verify the availability of items. If items are on shelf, we will set them aside for you.

Limited Services April 11-14

During the transition to the new catalog, some library services will be limited April 11-14:

You must have your library card to checkout and renew items at the library April 11-14. We will not be able to look up library card numbers by name during this time.

Also, we will not be able to issue or renew library cards April 11-14

Finally, returned items will not be able to be checked in during the transition. In fact, it will take our staff a few days to check in all of the items returned April 11-14. Because of this, returned items may remain on your account for several days. However, no fines will be accrued during this time and your card will not be stopped.
