New Catalog Features

Our new online catalog will go live on April 14, and here are some of the features that will enhance the user experience for our patrons:

  • Ebooks and audiobooks will be integrated into the new catalog, so patrons will be able to browse and download eresources right from the catalog.
  • Searching will be easier, with more intuitive search options that will offer search suggestions and account for spelling errors.
  • Members will be able to receive phone, email, or text notifications for due dates, holds, and more.

Reminder: When our new catalog goes live on April 14, your PIN will be reset to the last four digits of the primary phone number on your account. Please see our library staff to be sure that your phone number (and other information) is up-to-date by April 10! Our catalog will be unavailable April 11-13 during software installation. After April 14, you may change your PIN. Visit newcatalog.ippl.info for more information.

Our library's catalog is provided by SWAN, a network of 77 local libraries offering more than 8 million items.
