Help us help the community this holiday season by donating nonperishable food and personal care items to our Food for Fines program through Dec. 14. All items collected will be distributed to the food pantries at Our Lady of Peace and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. If those making donations have fines due, the library will waive one dollar of fines owed for each item donated.

Suggested donations include:

  • Boxed or canned foods
  • Canned meat and tuna
  • Toilet paper and paper towels
  • Facial tissues and shampoo
  • Toothpaste and deodorant

No opened or expired items, please.

Holiday Giving Tree Program

IPPL is one of twelve host businesses for the Willowbrook/Burr Ridge Chamber of Commerce and Industry's 10th annual Holiday Giving Tree Program. Giving Trees will be on display through Dec. 24, and each tree's ornaments will list items that local charitable organizations are in need of this holiday season. Simply choose an ornament, shop for the item(s), then bring them back to the library unwrapped with the ornament attached.
