 E-movies and E-music!
Learn a new way to watch movies and listen to music with our new services. Stream or download music and movies to your device with hoopla and stream movies to your television by checking out a Roku player. For more information visit the E-movies and E-Music page or learn about it at our two learning sessions on Tuesday, January 7 at 6:30pm or Saturday, January 11 at 10am.
 k-RoT - Kids Reading on Tuesdays
Meet Tuesdays, January 7 through February 18. We will be celebrating several classic stories, Like "Indian In the Cupboard" by Lynne Reid Banks and "Matilda" by Roald Dahl, that share our 25th anniversary. Discussions will include fun activities and some movie viewing. Snacks will be provided and it's OK if you haven't finished the book!
 FrISK - Friday Interactive Storytime for Kids
 At FrISK, books collide with hands on fun. This winter we are focusing on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities by exploring books like "What Floats in a Moat?" by Lynne Berry, "Math Potatoes" by Greg Tang, and "Doug Unplugged" by Dan Yaccarino. Come MAKE, TAKE and INVESTIGATE with FrISK!

Dan Sovocool from S&P Capital IQ will demonstrate how to use the Standard & Poor's NetAdvantage product online. On Thursday, January 16, attend a session at 2pm or 7pm. This comprehensive business and investment resource includes Industry Surveys, Stock Reports, Company Profiles, The Outlook, and more.

 Game Night

Hey 20- and 30- somethings: join our 80s themed Game Night on Friday, January 17 at 7pm. Test your trivia skills with 80s Scene It! and I Love the 80s board games. We'll also have other games and snacks.

 Map-Based Search Now Available!
In AtoZdatabases, find people or businesses in a custom area by using a visual map powered by Google Maps. Just click "get started" next to businesses or residents, then choose "map based search" under geography. Options include drawing a custom shape, defining a radius, and creating a driving route.
Tax Forms
As in years past,  the library will be distributing Illinois and Federal tax forms to the public. According to the Internal Revenue Service, "the majority of shipments for Forms 1040, 1040 and 1040EZ, and their respective Schedules and Instructions may begin in mid to late January." The forms will be on shelving adjacent to the Ask Us Desk. For questions, call 630-887-8760, ext. 240.
