 | Anser CBC Sustainability Committee: | | |
At the direction of the Executive Committee of the Anser Board of Directors, a committee has been formed to review steps that can be taken to make Anser's CBC and Electives program sustainable in terms of staff and volunteers. We want to assure parents that we are NOT cutting CBC or Electives at Anser. Rather, a committee made up of parents, staff, teachers, Family Council Representatives, Board Representatives and CBC committee representatives chosen because of their knowledge and involvement with the program has been tasked with insuring CBC/Electives is a high quality program, insuring parental involvement, provides planning time for teachers and can be implemented within the current CBC/Electives budget. When a proposal has been developed that meets these goals it will be presented to the Anser community for feedback and possible revision. The following people are members of the committee, and would be happy to speak with people if you have any questions or suggestions about how to make CBC/Electives a sustainable, high quality program for our students: Suzanne Gregg, Heather Banuelos, Heather Dennis, Dave Wagers, Penelope Gaffney, Julie Bu, Catrina Thomas, Paula Perry, Melissa Frazier, Denice McPhillips, Michelle Dunstan, Diane Williams, Kelly McLeod, Jennifer Trople, Giselle Isbell, Anne Moore, and Jia Acree.
